When Korea skipped Spring...

This is a snippet of my last two weeks. Buddha's Birthday is this weekend, so the lanterns will be out in full force. I just can't get sick of taking pictures of them.

Wild and crazy kids

Allow me to introduce my kindergarten homeroom, Kd class. They are the perfect example of why teaching can be the most insanely frustrating thing on the planet, or one of the most rewarding.

(There are auctually seven of them, but Andy's hand is in front of Kevin's face)

They often decide they aren't going to listen. Or that they no longer speak or understand English. Then there are the moments when they will do anything I say because I have promised them a game of tic-tac-toe.

The weather has changed here so dramatically, I'm sure the kids are going to be wild for a while. Today they all complained that they were hot and thirsty. It may be a long summer.
